Young children cooking together around a big pot

Sundays · London · Ages 2–5

Where little ones shop, cook, and share a meal.

A hands-on Sunday morning in the supermarket: children gather real ingredients from the shelves, cook one big shared pot, and sit down to eat it together. A parent beside every child, start to finish.

The idea

A real cooking class, sized for a three-year-old.

Children are growing up surrounded by food yet strangers to it. Little Pots makes real food familiar the only way that works at this age: small hands in it, week after week. No lectures, no bribes, no "one more bite".

One Sunday morning

The children take over the store.

Before the doors open, the store belongs to the little chefs: they shop, they cook, they're the boss; the parent stays beside their child as sous-chef.

They gather the day's ingredients from the low shelves themselves.

Every week, a new country

Each Sunday travels somewhere new.

The week's warm regional snack takes the class travelling: the country it comes from, its culture and native ingredients. Then the little chefs cook that country's dish themselves.

Why it works: a child may need to meet a new food ten times before they accept it. We never bribe and never force; we make food familiar, and let familiarity do the work.

For the grown-ups

Structured, safe, and genuinely calm.

Small by design

Up to 8 families a session, with a parent or guardian beside every child throughout the morning.

Safety first

No hot stoves in little hands, no sharp blades, every ingredient disclosed and handled to allergen protocol.

Expert-led

Menus designed by a registered nutritionist and sessions run by educators who know how young children settle.
